Volunteer registration is now available through the Odyssey of the Mind website.
NOTE: THIS IS A 2-STEP REGISTRATION PROCESS!
Step 1: Register your volunteer by clicking on the button above. You must enter a valid email address for the volunteer! Please note that the registration is a multi-page form: make sure you scroll to the bottom and click "Next Step", on the second page check the "Agree" box and confirm the volunteer's email address, finally click "Submit". The volunteer will receive a confirmation email (sometimes there is a lag time for this). If the volunteer is interested in working more than a 2 hour shift please note the times he/she is available in the comments sections of the registration so we can contact him/her to coordinate multiple shifts/jobs. There are some jobs available that are longer than 2-hours. (High School student volunteers often want to work more hours to receive community service credits.)
Step 2: Once the tournament schedule for teams is published (about 10 days to one week before the tournament) all Registered Volunteers will receive an email notifying them to choose their job and time-slot using SignUPGenius. Detailed Job Descriptions and instructions will be posted at that time. The most convenient times and jobs will probably fill quickly so volunteers should choose their time as soon as they receive the email notice. All time slots need to be filled and will be filled on a first-come basis. If the volunteer wishes to see their team's Long-term Problem performance they should choose a time-slot that starts at least 2 hours and 15 minutes before or 30 minutes after the team's scheduled Long-term Problem performance time, to allow time to get to or from the performance room to the assigned job site. Volunteers can choose a timeslot that spans the team's Spontaneous time since there is no audience allowed for that part of the competition.
